Widex Offers Hearing Care Professionals (HCPs) the Opportunity to Gift Free Hearing Aids on Upcoming Community Giveback Day
The Widex Community Giveback Program enables HCPs to gift a free pair of Widex hearing aids to a community member who would otherwise not be able to afford it. The first Widex Community Giveback Day will take place on February 26, 2024.
HAUPPAUGE, NEW YORK, February 22, 2024 — Following the recent introduction of its pioneering “Partners in Excellence for You” program designed to help partner HCPs gain the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to thrive in the ever-evolving world of audiology, Widex today launched its first Community Giveback Day that empowers HCPs to gift a free pair of Widex hearing aids to a member of their local community who would otherwise not be able to afford the purchase. The free fittings will take place on February 26th.
“The Widex Community Giveback Program is intended to help our HCP partners make a real impact in the world of audiology and, more importantly, in their local communities,” said Widex Vice President of Marketing Alan Raffauf. “By joining the Widex Community Giveback Program, HCPs will become part of something that is truly special and meaningful for those they serve. We are proud to partner with them to give the gift of sound to a deserving member of their community later this month.”
According to Raffauf, HCP partners who opt to participate in the program earn hearing aids to help a needy patient of their choice. They will also receive a specially prepared Digital Media Kit that will enable them to share their story with local media, their patients, and on their social media channels.
The Widex Community Giveback initiative is part of the larger Widex “Partners in Excellence for You” program that was rolled out in January for today’s hearing care professionals who want to make a bigger impact in their communities, maintain their educational readiness to meet the needs of their patients, and grow their business practice.
In addition to the Community Giveback initiative, the program also includes the Widex On-the-Go app that is designed to reduce the administrative burden audiologists face so they can focus more on the clinical activities that matter most. Plus, the Widex VIP Education program provides access to practical, actionable, and relevant sales training to better prepare HCPs for the daily challenges they face.
Furthermore, “Partners in Excellence for You” grants HCPs access to technology for their business and patient education, sneak peaks at forthcoming new products, early registration access for training, as well as the ability to attend special guest speaker presentations and Q&A sessions.
“We hope all our HCP partners choose to become a Widex Community Giveback hero today,” Raffauf emphasized. “Together, we have the unique opportunity to bring Widex’s signature natural sound experience to more people than ever before — and make a lasting impact on patients’ lives.”
