The V.2 HP receiver is an embedded custom ear-tip, most appropriate for moderate-to-profound hearing losses. In particular, the V.2 HP receiver offers additional output in the low- to mid-frequency region.

  • As the receiver is embedded in a custom ear-tip, it cannot be used with other types of removable earwar.

Where do I find and select the V.2 HP receiver in the COMPASS™ GPS fitting software?

The V.2 HP receiver is selected using the same process as other Widex receivers and earwar. In COMPASS™ GPS:

  1. Connect the hearing aids to the software using a Noahlink Wireless or Widex PRO LINK.
  2. In the SELECTION screen, open the dropdown menu under ‘Receiver’.
  3. Select the V.2 RIC HP from the dropdown menu.
  4. You will then be able to adjust the vent size for the custom embedded ear tip, if necessary.
The V.2 HP receiver is capable of a maximum sound pressure level exceeding 132 dB SPL.
